Narcissism

Filed under: within me — theonewithin @ 4:14 am

You know, I am not the most self-confident/loving person. I often feel insecure, especially in certain daily routines, but not always around certain people. Sometimes I am more secure with just a one on one thing. But sometimes not. I don’t know; it depends on who the person is.

But what if you had a really close friend who you feel totally comfortable around most of the time. But there are some areas that you aren’t. For me, it might be, I guess maybe I am afraid to express my full self. But why is that? This is the person who is our closest friend; whom we trust with our lives. Are you uncomfortable to be sentimental around them (because you know some people just are)? Are you scared to act like a total goofball. Why are are you so uncomfortable. You know that you are just a little embarrassed and shy. I think that you are afraid that you might do something which might make them feel uncomfortable (don’t take that the wrong way, it’s not what you think). But you know that they love you and you are just trying to show them that. You just want to treat them as if they were your sibiling. Because you guys are so close you are sibilings.

Just be more confident and secure with yourself. It’s not like your friend is going to think your weird. Just go with the flow. Don’t think about how you want every little thing to be. That just means that you will be more disappointed. But what is it going to take to get you comfortable with yourself? Is it putting yourself in uncomfortable situations. Love yourself and don’t be afraid to act all sentimental and serious sometimes. We are all human.
