Why Should You Care?

Filed under: within me — theonewithin @ 11:38 pm

Is it possible to develop a habit of always caring what others think of you that you start to fear what your best friend thinks of you? Think about it. You can’t even be yourself around others without driving yourself nuts about what they are really thinking; thus, you develop the same habit around your best friend. But why should you care? They are not going to judge you. Otherwise you guys would not be friends. You are comfortable with each other. But OMG!!!! What should you do if you are driving yourself nuts because you are so afraid of what your best friend thinks of you?

First of all, why are you embarrassed in the first place? Is it because you really have no way of telling them how much you really care? Are you a “tough guy” and you just don’t show emotions? Why is it, then, that you are too embarrassed to honestly tell them what you are feeling? C’mon what’s the worst that could happen?

Also, why are you so scared when you fight? You know, there is the saying that you fight with the people that you love most. Makes yourself understand that your friend will understand that you are just being a human being. They might cut you some slack if you cut them some slack.

Another thing, have confidence in yourself and your friendship. If things were not meant to be then they would have never happened. Really, why are you so afraid of what they think of you. You know, you are just sensitve and get embarrassd easily.

Really to solve this whole thing is to put yourself in uncomfortable postitions. STAY OUT OF THE COMFORT ZONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
